The Body’s Cooling System
Now that it’s summer, everyone likes to find ways to cool off. Especially while enjoying all the outside activities like, going to the beach, picnics, swimming, sporting events or just working in the yard or garden. The body’s cooling system plays a big part in how the body can tolerate heat. The body does amazing things, one of which is it’s cooling system. Have you ever wondered how the body’s cooling system works?
It works very similar to the cooling system in a vehicle. The vehicle produces heat while burning fuel, so it uses a cooling system to keep the temperature from getting too high and overheating. Overheating will cause the vehicle to stop functioning properly. This is the same for the body, causing dehydration and possible heat exhaustion. The body produces heat while burning food (body regular temp is around 98 degrees) and the temperature increases as the body produces heat so then the cooling system begins working to maintain a constant regular temperature.
Just imagine how much harder the body’s cooling system must work while outside in the hot summer months to maintain that constant temperature, especially in areas that have 100 degree or higher climates. Maybe someone works in an environment that is excessively hot, like working in an attach, roofing houses or does commercial landscaping or a lawn mowing service. These are just a few examples, and I am sure there are many more.
Drinking lots of water is highly recommended to keep the body hydrated. There are also other products (antioxidants) available to mix with water that adds variety and flavor that are helpful in assisting the body’s cooling system, citrus is highly recommended, such as lemonade, limeade, orangeade or even using grapefruit. I like to take it one step further though, with using Thai Go (Thai-Go contains ingredients rich in bioflavonoids and antioxidants. Bioflavonoids enhance vitamin C absorption and help maintain collagen and capillary walls. They also aid in the body’s immune–defense system. Antioxidants scavenge damaging free radicals that the body accumulates as a byproduct of energy production as well as through exposure to pollution, tobacco smoke, ultraviolet light and radiation. Antioxidants benefit virtually every organ and body system because they mop up damaging free radicals. Thai-Go delivers a punch of antioxidant potential with a very high ORAC value. Among Thai-Go’s key ingredients is mangosteen, a tasty fruit found in eastern tropical nations, such as Thailand. Mangosteen and its pericarp contain the greatest known supply of compounds called xanthones. Xanthones offer powerful immune and cardiovascular support.) that adds a delicious bouquet of flavor and it’s full of healthy stuff (Mangosteen fruit concentrate and pericarp extract, Concord grape fruit concentrate, red grape fruit concentrate, blueberry fruit concentrate, red raspberry fruit concentrate, red grape skin extract, wolfberry/goji fruit extract, açai berry concentrate, pomegranate fruit juice concentrate, sea buckthorn fruit extract, red grape seed extract, green tea leaves extract and apple fruit extract.) It adds an exciting flavor to enjoy, either while exerting lots of energy outside, or used for just a refreshing drink while enjoying the backyard patio or pool. My favorite way is Thai Go with lemonade.
